We've compiled one of the most extensive goalkeeper coaching staffs in the Carolinas to provide the best youth goalkeeper training for all of our youth goalies at every age group.
BRandon Miller
Founder & Goalkeeping Director
Coach Miller is a retired professional goalkeeper, having spent 10 years playing in the United Soccer League and having several training stints with various Major League Soccer teams. He has extensive experience training goalkeepers at the youth, collegiate, and professional levels. Brandon started the Prime Focus Goalkeeping brand in 2016 and launched the Academy in 2022. Coach Brandon offers individual and group private trainings outside of the Academy sessions as well. Use the link below to see dates and times for training availability!

Pablo Rivera
Assistant Goalkeeping Director
Coach Rivera is a native of Colombia who has extensive playing and coaching experience in the United States. He is currently a goalkeeper for one of the top teams in the UPSL and leads goalkeeper development for our Pre-Academy and youth club affiliates. Matt Levy
Academy Coach
Coach Levy is a professional goalkeeper currently playing in USL League One with the Charlotte Independence. After spending his college career in Florida, Matt headed north to continue his playing and coaching journey. Coach Matt spends time with our Academy as well as offering private youth goalkeeping sessions in the South Charlotte area. Use the link below to see dates and times for training availability!

Danny Rodgers
Academy Coach
Coach Rodgers is a former collegiate standout that spent his career playing for multiple high-level universities. During his time in college, he honed his skills as a goalkeeper coach with the Pittsburgh Riverhounds USL youth academy. Danny has experience training goalkeepers ages 8-18 in both an individual and group setting. He is an extremely knowledgable goalkeeper and coach so book a session with him today!

David Montoya
Academy Coach
Coach Montoya hails from Colombia in South America and brings a very unique style to our goalkeeping group. He has experience playing in the first division in his native country for Patriotas Boyaca and he is currently a goalkeeper in the UPSL here in Charlotte, NC with Queen City FC. His knowledge of the position extends beyond just playing. He prides himself on helping the next generation of goalkeepers develop and has continued to hone his coaching craft while pursuing his professional aspirations. ​

Daniel Locklear
Academy Coach
Coach Locklear is currently a goalkeeper for the Mars Hill University men's soccer team. He is a native of the Charlotte area, having spent many years within the youth system of the Barca Academy in the area. He excels on the field in both a playing and coaching role. Coach Locklear has honed his goalkeeping coaching development with the Prime Focus Goalkeeping Pre-Academy for the past several years and he is one of the top young coaches in the area.
